Hotel Orphee - Grosses Haus - Regensburg

The vibrant atmosphere in the courtyard and unique room decor, complete with antiques, enhanced my experience at Hotel Orphee. Light sleepers may struggle due to the nighttime courtyard lighting.

It was the best of Regensburg hotels I visited before. I had 4 nights in Regensburg, spending the time here lovely. The restaurant was nice for dinner here, I had delicious dishes. The location was comfortable, just a pleasant stroll away from Golf Museum: )

I savored good authentic French dishes amidst vibrant local chatter. The complimentary water, wine, and nuts added a cute touch to our spacious Superior Double Room, which seemed like living in a charming vintage film set.

While the reception lacked a cozy lobby vibe, and it felt a bit awkward walking through the smoke area, the quirky decor and bustling atmosphere redeemed the experience.

A very good meal in a very characterful restaurant

The hotel felt that it was a restaurant with some rooms available. There was no lounge or private area.

Reception staff were very helpful; breakfast was included with our room and was very nice. Unique, nice size rooms and bathroom and a ceiling fan!!!

I was captivated by the hotel's quirky character with vintage decor. The complimentary snacks and drinks, including a bottle of wine and fresh croissants at breakfast, were such a good and thoughtful touch. Plus, the restaurant atmosphere was electric, bustling with locals enjoying high-quality French cuisine!

Restaurants offered great foods and staffs in the restaurant were friendly.

We used a taxi to arrive at the hotel so that we had no problem, but it might be a bit difficult to find it, if you try to search by yourself.

Hotel has lots of character and is quiet. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Breakfast was the exactly the same every day.

We loved the spacious room and the buzzing vibe in the restaurant, but the entrance through smoke was a real bummer. Still, the fresh bread at breakfast was a sweet treat!

Great, one of a kind design, good breakfast and wonderful restaurant, right in the middle of Regensburg, which was well worth the trip.

I want to live in room 406. That should say it all.

The hotel certainly has potential, but who thought a large smoking area right at the entrance was a good idea? After suffocating through that awful haze, I expected at least an upgrade to my room, but no, just the same mediocre experience for everyone. Breakfast was terrible, and the oatmeal tasted weird, just couldn't recommend it.

It is unique venue in an unbeatable location close to everything in the old town, the services it offers are great. Thank you for a fine stay...

The location was ideal and incredibly comfortable, close to Altes Rathaus. And it was also near to the back garden and the enormous castle, the famous old stone bridge, the cathedral, the town hall, the railway station and the beautiful shopping district.
